  3. An exploration of a Quad Julia Set in successive zooms.

  5. Again, I've presented the same set of 8 images, rendered both as 256-color
  6. Amiga AGA 768x480 and as 24-bit 768x480.

  8. P00 - P07 - 768x480 AGA 256-color originals, Rainbow_RGB color palette
  9.  
  10. P08 - P15 - 768x480 24-bit originals (same as P00 - P07 set), count 16384

  12. The first group reproduces as GIFs perfectly.

  14. Here we see a typical 4-armed 'dragon' Quad Julia Set producing successive
  15. strange and cloudy-looking spiral structures.
  16.  
  17. The deepest zooms in the 24-bit group are shown with only 256 colors.
  18.  
  19. The total magnification from P00 to P07 (or from P08 to P15) is 16384.
